Can you put a 1.25 non-studded track on a completely stock viper without wrecking anything or doing any mods? What about a studded track? I have tried searching but have gotten quite a few different results.

To run studs and a 1.25 you'll need 8 tooth drivers and keep your tunnel protection. To go that lug height without studs just take your front and top tunnel protectors out and you will be good to go.Thats what I did on mine and its been great for many, many miles, I run the ripsaw its a great all around track.

If you are running an 02 viper like it says you are, no bump is necessary because SWEDE had a perfect answer. lol If you are not going to stud it, take out the heat exchange protectors on the front and on the the top of the tunnel. If you are going to be running studs, you must go get some 8 tooth drivers and then regear your chain case to get you back to what you had with the 9 tooth drivers.

yeah with the 8 tooth drivers its the same as dropping a tooth or 2 in the gearing i think? I know it lowers the gearing, but dont know how much, so if you wanted a bit more low end then you wouldnt have to regear.
