Anyone now a good place were I can get cylinders replated there from a Exciter SX. i would also like to do it fairly cheap.

I don't think there is a "cheap way" to get your cylinders replated. Here are a couple of places, Millennium Technolgies toll free # 888-779-6885, Atelier Adrien Bernard # 1-800-518-7220, Image Enterprises # 715-479-7427, and U.S. Chrome toll free 866-922-5066.

Talk to MrViper hes a dealer for Millennium Technolgies, itll be cheaper than you sending it yourself.

Thanks for the help, I think I'll get them do at U.S Chrome, they have a set of reconditioned ones for 400$ plus they'll buy my old ones so that knocks the price down abit. Up here in Canada it was going to be over 700$.

Take the vin number to your local Yamaha dealer, they should be able to check for you. You might want to write down the cylinder casting number also.

Oh ok thanks for the help. Whats the difference between the updated cylinders and non-updated.

Some early SX's had a problem with soft nikasil but you are going to get yours replated so it dosen't really matter. Sorry to alarm you.

U.S Chrome does great work....plus they are 20 min. from me
