Red vs. Blue vs. Black Viper. Which do you prefer?
On the older style Viper's, 02 and up which colour do you prefer? I recently purchased a red 700 for the wife. To be honest I have always found the blue's to be a sharper looking machine, but hey - I could NOT pass on the deal I got!! I figure worst case scenario, I could replace the hood, ski-loops and seat cover if I really wanted to. Even though Im not a big fan of the red ones her 02 viper er seems nicer than my 02 mxz 700x.
So what are your opinions on the colours?
PS. Someone on here has a black one, I think its an 04. Its one sharp looking machine!

if i was to pick one or the other id pick blue over red , but black would be my first choice

Damn the black is sweet. You know what, I might just cough up the bit of money it would cost for some new hood decals and seat cover and repaint it black. Maybe will wait till the end of this season though and then I can repaint the hood after its had a chance to hit a tree or two. hehe j/k

I like the blue!!
We have 2 Blue and 2 Red. The kids and I prefer the blue but the wife likes the Red. Doesn't matter, bring on the snow and it's all a blur anyway.

i kinda like the blue, but i own a red er mountain.... It might get painted all white at some point next year though. I think that would look awesome.

Blue all the way! Looks like it's a consensus. Yamaha is known for it's blue machines. The black is stealthy though!

I own a Red but prefer the blue! I didn't like all the stickers on mine so removed outside ones and added black windy. I do like the mostly black with red trim!

Blue, Black, and Red would be my order of preference. I really liked the way my Blue Viper looked. G.B.
