Looking to upgrade my bars to get a more moto-x feel (staight bars). What bars are any easy add-on to achieve this? ie. brand, ease of swap out?

Anything more than 2-3in. your gunna have to remove your carbs and 1 engine mount to install a longer oil cable. If your more of a stand up and pending your height I wouldnt go with anything lower than 5in. Im 6'1 and installed 5in of rise(1in powermadd+4in Fly riser) on my Viper and still wasnt providing me with a straight back like I hoped. This year Ill be using a RSI 8in riser along with their adapter on my SRX, this combo keeps my back straight and my legs bent. This combo along with the Boss high rise seat doesnt make the sit down position all that bad.

i actually just put a set of ProTaper CRmid bars on my 99 SRX tonight. I have 5" Rox risers and already have Gravity Worx extended cables. The ProTapers are compareable to Renthals at a little better price. PM me if you want to se a pic of the setup.

ive been thinking about putting different bars on mine since sitting on a zrt with these bars. Obviously the SRX port is much lower so im looking at the 4 inch.
