I'd like to make my wifes 94 vmax600 a little more comfortable. If I can find a long travel skid from a 96 xt will it bolt right into the 94? I think it will - but I don't have any experience with that XT suspension & I want to make sure. Thanks.

Yes new mounting holes will need to be drilled.

I would go with a newer pro-action plus rear skid. It does not have to be from an XT Vmax, you can use any of the pro-action plus rear skids. But, it's not a direct bolt in, you need to make careful measurments and dril new mounting holes on the tunnel. There used to be a great write up/instructions on how to do this suspension swap on Vmax4.com, but the site crashed and I'm not sure if that info ever made it over here to ty.com... Maybe check the tech pages..
