Hi guys.i need your input. i just rejetted my 98 srx 700 mountain. went from 135 across and 60 pilot to 145, 145 and 147.5 w/ 42.5 pilots. screws 1 1/4 turns out. now when i hit the throttle fast, it bogs and if i hit it and hold wide open it dies. if i throttle it slower it runs fine. can you point me in the right direction. thanx

I am just wondering why you increased the jet size. I am not sure what the jet charts are on that sled but maybe a little more info and someone could point you in the right direction.

I forgot in your pm if it runs better with choke 1/2 on it,s probably the needle settings. it will be lean somewhere.

thanx for the reply

ill try with the choke tommorow. i took the tops off the carbs and cant figure out how to get the needles out. i have a cd from internet, but doesnt really show how to take them all apart. i know on my bike mikuni, i just have to lift the slide and unscrew the allen bolt. slide right out.

jetting

it tried with the choke and seemeed to work better. i changed back to the 60 pilots and screw at 1 1/4 out put everything back together and still has a bog when you hit it fast. basically tried setting for my area and bogged bad. would die if you hit her quick and hold w/o. also needle is at 3rd with washer under it.
