We (students and myself) are working on getting another bravo running, when we got to the point of hooking up the wires from the magneto to a junction found that it only had 4 wire instead of 5 (as in the other Bravo) these are black, brown, white/red, and yellow. The junction it was to hook up to has 5 wires black, black/white, white/red, blue, and yellow back. The Bravo that runs has 5 wires black, brown, white/red, yellow, and red from the Magneto. These go as follows black to black; brown to black/white; white/red to white/red; yellow to blue; and red to yellow/black. The question is as there is no red wire, what to hook up the yellow wire to, for this to run. Thanks Cam
black to black, brown to red( but that red should come from the CDI box), white/red to white/red, yellow to blue, yellow black could be double connected to the blue or just leave it dead, that runs the hand warmers curcuit......there should be a black/white that is the kill curcuit that should go to the black/white from the CDI....if the CDI has a black/yellow that will have to be grounded for the throttle override system....

Mr. Sled, Thanks, Hope to work through this tomorrow. Checked Ronnies and found we have a pre 95 generator (and perhaps motor) which we are trying to put in a 95+ machine(?). I believe some other changes have been made as date on Bravo is 5/89. Thanks for the help and support. Cam

Right on!!! The kids will be impressed when I have them work through this tomorrow, got spark!!!! From the contector of the CDI the red hooked up to a yellow/black; I checked continuity which I got, connected (jumpers) as you indicated a little pull and spark. Did not ground black/yellow from CDI??
Thank you.
Thank you.
its the throttle overide...see how it runs...unless it dont have that from the CDI but it should...spark is good

What actually is,or what does the throttle overide do? Cam
if I am not mistaken thats part of the TORS system if the throttle would stick it goes into a idle type mode so you dont blast yourself into danger.
