I had a stuck float and suspect the case may be full. Is there somewhere that the case can be drained? I looked around a bit but didn't see anything obvious.
Also, the plastic main jet ring doesn't fit tight anymore and slops around. Should I get new ones?

Not sure of the drain in the case I don't think so. The plastic ring fits kinda tight but can still be moved around a little.

there is no drain for the case. you are going to have to take out the plugs and pull the sled over a bunch of times. you could have your buddies help hold the sled on its side, while you pull it over. probably have to pull the pipes off too, to help let the gas drain out. those white rings will move around a little, but shouldn't flop all over the place i wouldn't think.
There is no drain on the case, best way to get it out is to remove the reed block, move the piston to TDC and stick a rag into the reed hole, then insert a blowgun tip between the rag and case and the rag will catch all the puddeld up gas, also shielding it from spraying all over your face and every where else.

that's a good idea....never thought of that. my way was a messy way......lol!
mr viper, you ever get my pm about those helixs?
Thanks Guys. As far as the main jet ring, it hardly catches on that groove it spins around on. I got a feeling it'll just lay in the groove at the bottom of the bowl. Sounds like I should grab a few new ones.

yeah, might as well. better to be safe than sorry and just for the peace of mind.
I was wondering about the plastic ring as well. After sitting over the summer with ATF in the carbs they don't fit very tight at all anymore. I just put them on anyway. Anyone else know more about this? I don't mind replacing them so much but I'm wondering what caused it and if it really is something that matters.

why the hell do you have atf in the carbs?
