if i where to get a 2 inch bar riser, would i need to extend my throttle and brake cables??? or is it owrth getting a 3 or 4 inch riser. i like standing up alot when riding, but i dont want the bars too high when sitting down...any advice?!?

I just put a 3" riser on my SRX and it fit without extensions but the brake hose was pretty tight. I only extend that one just for alittle piece of mind and with alittle rerouting of the other cables, now everything in cool. I'm 5' 11" and 3" is pretty comfortable sitting and standing.

I personally think the 2" is perfect...I didn't extend the cables..but what I did do was move the handlebars forward..and if you follow the brake cable down the steering column you'll see there's a bracket that holds the cables in..I Grinded out a slot and pulled my cables out so they had more slack for turning etc...So far so good...

I got rid of that loop also. I just cut mine straight off so the spacer would still be there but the loop was gone.

Hit up rich (richierich from Rich Motorsports) He's a prefered vendor here on TY - He'll hook ya up.

you can get a PowerMadd 2" Riser from Royal Distribiuting for around $35, I got my PowerMadd riser in a Yamaha Shop on sale for like $30, or you should get a Rox Pivot Riser, you can get them in 2", 3.5" and 5" as far as I knows, lol

I have a 5 1/2" Rox duel pivot riser on my MM.
Rox is a nice riser because you lift you bars higher, and
you can also pivot the bars forward as well.
