I have a 99 SRX,with anti-freeze seeping into the block. I took it apart, and there is a small gouge,'''it looks like someone removed the spacer with pliers or vise grips," and gouged the tip while twisting. it's only about 3 thousands deep, just enough to leak, I inspected the base gasket very carefully, and you can see trail, where it had leaked. I tried Yamabond last year, did not work,I ran it for the season,it just smelled a little sweet, sometimes. What is an easy fix

Are you talking in the water pump area...have you tried "J B" weld...two types...std set up or quick set up...used both with great results on cracked lower end on off road bike, lower skags on out boards...just a idea

this is also epoxy that works with aluminum. You can find this at any auto parts store. Just make sure whatever u use make sure u make it nice n smooth or it will leak around the hump you made.

it,s leaking between the block and base gasket,it has a small pit about 1/8 inch around, between the stud and case,I have used J B weld before,it will probley work on this,I can cut it with a razor scraper, and a dab of form a gasket
