hey all. i finally got another sled. picked up a 97 mm 700. odometer reads 9000 kms, but new top end around 7000. good compression across the board. looked to be in pretty good shape. back to work now so havent had a chance to look close. started right away. got it for 1800 canadian. i think that was good for what sleds are goin for in my area. any thing i should be worried about or looking for? any input welcomed. looks to have a 2 inch paddle track. will that fit on my 98 mountain srx with no modification? would like deeper lug on my srx and swap tracks. thanx to all for all your help with all my questiions up till now. you guys are great. thanx Wayne.

Msrx 700
The 98 MSRX came stock with a 1.5" x 136" track with 9 tooth drivers. The MM has 8 tooth drivers to fit the 2" paddle track. There was an option in 98 to upgrade the MSRX to a 2" track for $200 not installed and came with Track , rail extensions, complete 8 tooth drivers with axle and speedo drive
and some rivets. so check to see what tooth drivers you have. The 2" won't fit with 9 tooth drivers.
