Well, since we are workin on my buddies srx, i want to work on mine too, Just curious if its worth replacing bearings if they aren't bad?( i just wany to find an excuse to work on it some) speedo bearing is ok but should i still put new bearings in? what bearings all should be checked? all my idlers are fine, no slop in them, and spin good.
Jackshaft and speedo bearings are the culprits for stopping all the fun. Check them real good. You can inject grease into them if they roll nice or just replace them for preventitive maintenance.
