I have a '94 VMAx 600. What model Mikiuni carbs do I have so I can order a rebuild kit?
Does anyone know if there is a fuel pump diaphragm kit available? Is there a direct replacement Mikuni available? The ones I have seen don't have an oil line input. Or at least the picture didn't look that way.

You can get the fuel pump rebuild kit I looked into it once and was told not to bother as it probably was not my problem. I know they do make one though.
Not sure on the model of the carbs.

carbs should be mikuni tm 38's. easier just to buy a new fuel pump as its a total pain to rebuild, if you can still get parts, or even be able to separate halves. not much as to a rebuild kit for the carbs, except gaskets, unless yours are way messed up, then idividual parts add up quick. what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the rebuild?
I'm doing a general cleaning. I just got the sled last year. Every time I used it I had to start it initially with starting fluid. Once it fired, it would start all day long. I just pulled it out of storage and it didn't pull any fuel through the hoses. Of course they are all brittle so they may be cracked and sucking air. I was planning on replacing all the lines, the pump, and clean the carbs. I'm an outboard mechanic so I know the results of running this crappy ethanol fuel, and what it does to rubber diaphragms.
The OEM pump is $115. I was hoping to get a Mikuni for $30 or a rebuild kit for the original.

check your choke cables and plungers. i have seen issues with these. its a 2 into 1 cable and sometimes only one is pulling at the carb resulting in a hard start. also a stuck needle in the seat will make it hard to start. i probably have a fuel pump laying around, i will check.
