Well, I don't know how it happended but all three side of my spider sheered off the primary cover. I have the whole motor out right now as I blew a piston (PTO side) and changing both pistons, rings, bearings, gasgets etc, etc.
I did not notice until I took the primary off to pull out the motor. the sled has 14,500 Km on it and I don't think the primary has been touched. I am thinking on buying a whole new primary clutch -calibrated (Comet) for 429.00 canadian. Any sugestions?
Side note the originl mage side of the piston was replaced at 7500km (Yamaha Waranty) and now the PTO side went at 14500km. Don't know exactly what caused it exactly. Anything a common problem on the PTO side at that mileage?
