Not getting any movement out of my rear shock. Worked fine for me at the end of last year. Took sled to dealer to instal transfer rods (believe to be benders) at end of season. trailered home, Should of LOOKED sled over better. Went to check rods out and could not budge them a bit, (pull down on shaft and twist to adjust). Track was tighter than s**t, (never had a track so tight) lossend track and was able to adjust rods, put sleed away. Been working on sleed for awhile, power valves, clutches ect.. went to check track and rear skid out. well i think they took it for a test ride, noticed outer right side studs ripping track along square backers. (had right front shock go bad at end of last season, (since replaced with ohlins over the summer) removed studs on both sides of track to maybe still use track, (got a couple 1" tears hear and there). Put sled on ground thats when I noticed no travel, two guys on rear bumper and rear spring & shock doesnt move. hhmmmmm. bb in 1hour..kid run.. any sugestions? sled is a 2000 SRX

look at the arm in the rear of the suspension and see if it is against the rear idler wheels, and make sure the track is really loose.

wheels are all free, track is loose, 1" slack when lifted off ground, traction rods come real close to the two large upper wheels.
Ok, took another look at it today and noticed what is called the relay rods, (bars that go along outside of rear spring) are bent outwards like a bow<ll> compared to the ones on my 03 venture. If they are supose to be staight what the heck happened? The suspenstion worked fine when droped off at dealer to replace transfer rods. Need advice,thanks.. WRS.
