Turk, wasn't it you that covered that for 1,238,073 times.Come on,what's 1 more time gonna hurt.Help the fella.
Went by Swish today, now that I know where it is.Was it you doing some drags in the parking lot with your sled. LOL!!!!!!...........................................Doug

PS:snow is coming here this weekend..just wanted you to know.

hey blue did u find that topic how to go fast lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll j/k

whats..."alot of speed"....you can make those red heads do 118mph and all it takes it alot of $$$$$...port, clutch, bigger reed blocks, track, suspension, pipe.....now you have a fast sled for the low low price of $1999.99

I don't want this to ruin my reputation here but I have to speak up as this "search" thing is really out of control. When someone asks a question whether it has been covered once or 1,238,073 times telling them to "search search search" really does nothing to help them or this board. New comers and those who are less computer savvy may not have the ability to find things here as some of "senior" and experienced members are able to do.

To make things worse when I (or anyone) does a search now regarding this issue there will be 1,238,072 posts which simply say search, as opposed to pointing to where I can find this data or better yet an answer.

I think the more responsible and encouraging approach would be to either post the information from another thread or just don't say anything at all.

I for one have been turned off to this site many times due to the fact that when I search for things a majority of the threads are questions similar to mine that are answered with "search".

Sorry to hi-jack the thread all but this needs addressed. Good luck in your quest Austin, there is a ton of great information here!

go to "Search this Forum" Type in "SX 700 clutching" or something to that effect and there you go.......1,238,071 different threads and/or answers. :bash: :wel: :bash:

Austin, another thing that you can check is the tech pages for some of Turk's tip and as well as tip from others concerning your particular machine.....Good Luck

You only searched once... you have to search, search, search

Listen, I wasn't attacking any one in particular person here but it offers ZERO help to tell someone to search for something. Help them out or just simply don't reply.

People will quit repling to a thread after answering so many times. The poster then wonders we he is not getting any help. some of these posts have been covered so many times; this one in particular; people get sick of answering them.
142.5 main jets strate across
lower needles 1/2 all carbs
thin head hasket
punch out silencer exhaust to 2"
stock weights...inner rivet 3.6 & outer 3.6
51/43 helix from a apex/attak/rx1

Now that's the Turk we all have grown to love.Turk if I ask you the same question, you would answer me wouldn't ya. I promise not to dump my coffee all over you like the one time when we went out for lunch.LOL.I don't need to ask the easy questions anymore I have learned something since joining TY,but you never know..something may pop up and then I'll be hooped if no one responds .On the topic of clutching....what kind of setup......blah...blah.Sorry I will figure it out on my own.Keep notes on all my changes and test test test.

:dunno:

and just imagine if you would have done that in the first place... real information! It feels good, doesn't it?

Some have also had some success with change inner rivet from a 3.6 gram to a 4.5 gram and running the rx-1 helix at 60 degree wrap.
