You guys think the price is right or what do you think i should offer?

I have been looking for the same truck. Over here MI I have seen around the same truck, option or mods varying a bit, from 16000. to 23000. depending on miles. last one i looked at was a 04 same truck loaded, no leather, banks turbo kit and exhaust, chip, injector upgrade, with all new front end pieces. 72000 miles, asking 17,600. I would check ebay...or craigs list, auto trader...
Hope this helps, 25 G's is alot for a 6 year old truck,,, IMO.

check this out

Yep, I agree 25K does seem a bit much for a 6 year old truck. Who knows what its been through in those 6 years. Soundslike a sweet one though... just not 25K sweet

I wish I could afford a new diesel..... my 96 Ram is gettin pretty tired.

I don't wanna low ball the guy, this truck is on craigslist.... i wanna offer something like 20,000

if i were to get this truck, i'd get A-pillar gauges, 5 stage chip (if it doesnt have them already ) and stage 4 injector nozzles..... $$$$ where is all this money coming from that i don't have? haha!

I want a truck but i also want to get a street bike, decisions decisions!

$$$$$ add up fast on diesel trucks, And If something breaks...Then reach down deep in your pocket and pull out a couple grand.. =) But they sure are fun to drive and have the most awesome power...
It amazing to watch a 10 000 pound truck runa quarter mile in 12 seconds!!

Dodge :dunno:
If you gotta have a Dodge, you should be able to get a better deal seeing that diesel is over $1.00 per gallon more than no-lead. That's here anyways......

Definately a buyers market. I picked up a 2005 Ford F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 power stroke Lariat w/5 speed auto and every (yes I mean every) factory option in pristine condition earlier this summer for $17,000. BB was over $32K.........

DV8, my buddy has a 1999 dodge cummins crew cab long box, bought it for 17,000 with about 40,000 miles on it, all it had was aftermarket 60 degree rear exhaust. since then he got a chip, and stage 4 injector nozzles, nozzles add 150 hp, and the chip on stage 5 adds about 150hp. he needs an better clutch, because when he shifts into a gear the clutch slips, and black smoke just pours out, i love it.

well that guy was an idiot.
Actually he wasn't. He is a dealer in Marrieta GA that specializes in diesel pickups. When diesel 1st went up to the mid $4's per gallon he couldn't give his inventory away. He had some killer deals no doubt. He had about 4 trucks litterally identicle to choose from. The one I chose was the one he was keeping for himself. He didn't want to lose a sale and sold it and made one of the others his personal ride.

I think Prices will go back up as diesel comes down. Long term I see the prices really going up seeing that the big 3 are either shutting down their truck plants or converting them to small car production.

I don't think that's too bad at all.

1. 60k on a diesel is like 15k on a gasser.
2. twins...I've never priced them but they have to be around 3k-5k installed. With twins on it, I can't imagine there isn't extra fuel being fed. Either it has injectors and they forgot to mention them, or (more likely) he has a programmer but is taking it with him for future or giving/selling it to a friend.
3. best lift pump there is. It is the smaller one, but they say it is good to about 600hp...then you'll want the 95/150 FASS.
4. I hear that Southbend is period-the-end the best clutch for them when pumping up the power.
5. 4" stainless exhaust. Same size it came with, but stainless will last a lot longer. Curious that they didn't do some kind of intake mod.
6. I would be a little concerned why they had to replace the valve cover. Ask them.

Also ask about the track bar, if the upper/lower ball joints needed replaced it is probably getting pretty sloppy also.

Found a 2005 gmc Duramax crew cab for 5500 with 36,000miles. guy dropped it from 21,000 he needs to get rid of it, i'm buying it.

Hopefully buying a ford was the only mistake you made in life.

valve cover

wondering if the guy with that dodge put in the recommended head stud kit with the cummins when you up the boost i/e twin turbos you need to put a head stud kit in wouldnt have been a bad idea to put an aftermarket intercooler in as well

i have an 03 dodge with a banks six gun, speedloader, turbo waste gate, 4 inch straight through exhaust (no cat, or muffler), ats exhaust manifold, knn cold air intake and a turbo upgrade oh i almost forgot its got a 125 horse shot of nos and im getting 28 miles per gallon

you would be buying someone elses problems, thats how I look at modded anything. just never sure how things were done, and if something is modded it usually isn't for gas mileage lol! bet it wasn't driven by a little old lady to church ;)
