i have an 02 viper that i have short travel shocks on for a narrow stance....(38.5). i am wondering what the difference is if any in the ctc distance of the viper mtn ski shock vs. the short track viper. the ski stance i believe is 2in narrower i think its 40 on the mtn vs. 42 on the short track(anyone know for sure)?
i have damaged my short travel shocks and own a set of long travel off of a short track viper but want to keep my narrow(er) stance. the 38.5" radius rods and tie rod are too short to mount this combo together.
my question i guess is....are the viper mtn shocks shorter than the short tracker or do they just use slightly shorter arms.....the part #'s are the same other than the beginning designation (8ek-...) sorry, i know this sounds confusing.

ak: thanks for the reply. i am wondering if you could measure a ski shock center to center for me.

I have both sets of shocks in a box out in the barn. Next time out there I will measure.
I believe the measurements are in the Tech update as well though.
