I noticed one of my reed valves on my 1999 SX is not seated 100% when at rest. With 3800 miles on the sled, am I getting to the point to where I need to think about replacing them? I hear the yamaha OEM reeds are fantastic. How do they compare against carbon fiber reeds from Carbon Tech. I have heard great things about them as well. Is there a dyno sheet available comparing to the two?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Stick with oem on fairly stock engines V-force, boysen and carbon tech help some on ported or big bore engines.

I have a 760 big bore and triple pipes. Should I replace them with carbon fiber reeds?

Would I want the LT or the HT's? My sled is a trail machine first and foremost. 760 Big Bore (runs @ stock RPM), with hauck pipes it will shift about 9000 RPMS. I am not into radar runs but more racing on the lake. May run it on the grass this summer for grins on a 500' track. I prefer the pull up to 100 mph than trying to attain lift off. Again, it is a trail machine first. Do you suggest the LT ot HT's? Thanks!

go with the low tension (lt) ones, especially since your sled is a trail machine.
