Is it posible without changing MUCH to run boss noss on a viper MTN?
its going to be set up with clutching to match my elevation just maybe a 35 40hp hit? riding is 5 -8 ft.

I don't want to bad-mouth Boss-Nos or anything, but ask Boss a few questions before buying their set-up. A friend of mine bought their kit for his summit 800...it was a nightmare for him to get it to work properly. This was the first year it came out, hopefully they have improved them. They have aa batteries in them to open the two servos (one gas, one nos). The problem was that in the cold the batteries wouldn't supply sufficient voltage to open both servos. It seemed to only be able to open one. Of course it was the nos valve that opened, but he got lucky because the sled would lean out so bad that it would die. Better than burning down. He did some testing at home and thought that the servo valve for the fuel was bad. He called Boss, they said send it in and they would send a new one out, should cross in the mail. Two months later and many phone calls to them (they kept saying it was already mailed or they would mail it out that day), he finally got a servo in the mail. By this time it was almost the end of the season. He went out and tested it, still wouldn't open both valves. He called Boss, they told him about the batteries not working very well in the cold and to try lithium batteries. Still didn't work. He finally gave up on them and ended up powering it from his sled instead of the batteries. Half way through the second season of buying the kit he finally got it working.

well there is a way around that boss sells a diff box witch looks like it would be just a dry kit but its not there is valve that runs off of nos pressure to open the fuel... you just tee in to the fuel line and go to this valve then to the carbs... then just tee in to one (any) of the nos lines and go to this valve and when the nos is spayed it sences pressure and opens fuel... no more batt problems in the cold... problem solved.... i just got the new kit and they upgraded my buddys for 50 bucks

I have an NOS fogger kit. Works very well. You will have to run a battery and a seperate fuel supply though.

justaviper.,

i like that set up u have got done there, i looked on line for it and i can't find a triple set only for twin carbs? am i missing something?did yo have to do anything to the motor with running them piipes AND noss?

Motor is stock exept for opticool and SRX base gaskets. Its also jetted for the pipes. I had to do a bit of testing with clutch combinations though, and i'm still testing. The nitrous really wakes it up. Only draw back is the bottle is so small it only lasts for about 1/4 mile. I have an extra bottle too so i don't have to run out and get it filled as often.
