I replaced the stock wheels on the rear axle with open rear axle wheels. The outter replacements are thicker by 3/16 on each side causing the wheel on the nut side to only sit 25% on the axle. Anyone else have this problem?

yep, it will be fine when you pull the nut tight. i freaked the first time I did it too. U can shve a little off of each outside spacer too for piece of mind, it was about 1/16 off of both sides if I remember right. Maxdlx

just watchout that the inner part of the wheel does not rub on the transfer rod bolts

you need to trim down the spacers or you wont be supporting the bearing very well, you can break the wheel off the snap ring by doing this if you jump or put stress on it by hitting a hole etc. Just trim the differance off the 2 outside spacers and the axle will fully fit into the wheel, it should not be flush but just barely inside the edge of bearing race so the axle nut will tighten the assembly.

Thank you everyone. I really did not think installing this way was correct. I'll make the collar adjustments. I just hope there are not a lot of people thinking these are a direct replacment and leave the bearing like pictured. Again, Thank you....
