Hey all,
I just bought a 2000 MM 700 triple. Has 1200 miles on it and it was some chicks sled so it has not been abused. Shit it looks like its barely been used at all.
My question is, What type of maintenance should I do or have done on this sled before the season starts? Oil change, etc? I want to make sure its in tip top shape.
This is my first sled and I am stoked on it.
Mods it has: Aftermarket can, Simmons Skis and I think thats it. I bought a 3" lifter for the handle bars too.

Check chain case oil, clean the air filter, grease the skid and steering, check for any cracks on skid, adjust track, new plugs, clean clutch, check hyfax wear, check coolant for -30 degrees, and make sure you have a spare belt.

i would start by a thorough cleaning of the carbs. plus everything ak said above. dont forget to check the chain case tension. bogey wheels/bearings for play.
