Hey guys just wondering if the gears for a Apex fit a 2001 srx? Its a bottom gear.
The big bottom gear is the only one that will fit. the Apex model use a larger diameter jack shaft so the top gear will not work on a SRX
nice thats perfect I have one kicking around wich I was thinking of trying.
has anyone tryed running a 22-40 gearing on the srx? how those it work?
does it fit on the stock chain?
Why would you want to run a 22/40? Your going to get passed up by phazers like you were sitting still with those gears.
I run a 24/40 which is a 1.66
Stock gears is a 23/38 which is a 1.65
I run the 24/40 because it is less rolling resistance and the chain does not have to stretch around the gears as much. You wont be able to notice a .01 difference but a 22/40 will really slow you down on top end.
