is it hard to get to wiring under motor so i can check if it needs repair because i am told it can cause problems just woundering if it is a big job and where to start?

it is a really simple job....tie s string to the end of the wire after diconneting all connection and pull the harness out from the carb side.....repair harness, tape it up really well..pulll harness back under motor using the string that was tied, reconnect and you are good to go.

there is a wire clamp under the motor that I could not get at - i finally had enough so i cut all the wires and spliced after i relocated them. More than one way to skin a cat i guess
