use a 00-02 srx crank in 02 viper??????

does anyone know if you can use a 00-02 srx 700 crank in a 02 viper 700?? i was told that you can but i just want to double check.. please help

I highly doubt it, I've saw pictures of them side by side and they look alot different.It looks like the viper crank was lightened up quite a bit and is probably even balanced differently.
