i took the sled up in the canyon today and there wasn't alot of snow but rode around and picked my way through the rocks ... i couldn't open it up or use the spray but i was just doing some plug reeds and keeping a eye on my egts.... but i did find that the egts where only 600... i rode it for about 15 min at a time is that way to low .... i was in it the whole time when i was riding.... or was i just not riding it for long enough... this is the first time i have even had anything but lights...am i to fat ???? the plugs where coming back carbboard... last year they where black because everything was way out of adj...
A while back I read a thread on this and proper placement of the EGT probes on the pipe is critical. 600 does not sound right at all.

how far back did you mount the egt probes?

There is no way you are running at 600 degrees due to jetting. I would say that either your probes are severely in the wrong location (and I bet that still wouldn't get you all the way down to 600 degrees), or you have an issue with your guages or probes.
