It escapes me as to why I removed the PB in the first place, but I do know I made several attempts to try to reinstall it & for the life of me cant figure it out & said screw it. That was a season or 2 ago. Snows falling & getting my to do list done & seen the box of parts & thought I'd make another attempt at it. Befor I do is it even necessary? If so is there a step by step somewhere for the mentally challenged such as myself? At one point in the past I believe these parts broke the speed of sound as they were hurled accross the garage in disgust. Pretty much why I said F-it.

I pulled them off all my sleds. For the rare occasion I need one, I drilled a hole in the brake lever that I can stick a cotter pin in when the lever is squeezed.

Dont know why anyone would take them off in the first place ,they are a good saftey feature to have on your sled just my two cents.

I think when I pulled off my chaincase it had to come off???...something like that.
I forget, but it wasn't for nothing.

i took mine off because i put a 5 inch riser on and the old cable wouldn't reach.... and the oil, throtle, and brake line was around $500 with the risers so i said who needs a parking brake and ditched it...

i took mine off also - I've had the gear case apart too many times lately (and added longer cables) and got tired of messin with it. I keep a long velcro strap aroung the bar risers to clamp the brake lever down if i ever need it - never used it
