I am planning on installing an Ohlins Rear shock in my wifes viper. Does anyone know what the recommended spring length should be set to for various weights? Does it just follow the stock measurements. Thank you!

I put one on my girlfriends Viper. The shock comes with instructions on how to set the sag with a rider on the sled.
Good luck getting one. Nobody in the U.S. had one, my dealer said it came from Sweden. It took about a month to get it. That was in September, maybe they had another production run since then.

Are you talking the big shock w/ the piggy back or the smaller one w/out piggy back? I have the big shock completely rebuilt and not used in the box from Bruce Schrader @Pioneer Powersports. I may be interested in selling it if anyone is looking for one that is mint for a Viper.

I bought the shock (large w/resevoir)at the end of last season, just haven't installed yet. I need to double check the instructions but I don't recall much around the settings.
