I have an 83 vmax 540 and i heard that the carberators were different from side to side jetting wise. I was wondering if this is true and if it is what jets should be on each side?
Also can you mix and match cylinders from different years of the vmax 540?

SECOND QUESTION IS YES AND FIRST QUESTION IS STANDARD MAIN JET WAS A 330 WITH A 45 pilot. NOW OPTIONAL MAIN JETS VARY FROM A #200 UP TO A #350. IF YA NEED EXACT CARB SPEC I HAVE THEM. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Sorry about the late reaction but if your could email me the exact carb specs for each carb id really appreciate it. Im restoring this sled and im getting down to the end as fare as completing it.
