Add an 8 year old kid...
I was teaching my daughter how to ride last winter. I explained all the ins and outs, and the dos and don't. I was letting her drive on the lakes and I would drive on the trails between the lakes. I only let her go about 55 mph, and told her not to punch it. We were a couple lakes over from my parents house, when we stopped to see how some guys were doing, fishing. When we got back on, she pinned it, I saw nothing but sky!!! I got both hands on the bars but only one foot on! What a rush! I was yellin' at the top of my lungs! About 50 yards later she stopped. I drove back across that lake to the trail and over to the next. She was willing to drive again at the next lake. I wasn't too pissed at her, I figure it was a good learning experience. HAHA!

Just curious, do you have a 600 or 700? Is it studded up? Will you be on powder or hard pack?

By loosening up the front limiter straps youll remove ski pressure from the front, this will make the sled hard to steer into corners, meaning:the skis wont bite in.
It will also make the sled do wheelies like your wanting, however one other thing is it will most likely rachet the track alot depending upon how far you let them out, because the front arm will extend out and less of the track will wrap around the drivers. When you punch the sled the front arm tries to push into theground, this pulls the track from the drivers so your touching less drive teeth on the track. Dont be suprised if it eats hyfax right at the curve very quickly also.
What you need to do is go out slowly andfind the setting that will aloow you to turnand give you a good bite on take off.
