Anyone have a good baseline set up for the new Drag and Fly clutch weights from SuperTorquer??? I am looking for more Top end and Mid range on a stock non-studded 04 Viper S.

try pm turk, he has used those, I have not or would have given you something to try.

TURK did not have any recent data for the 2 Stroke sleds. He is mainly tunning 4 strokers now. Anyone else have any suggestions??????

like guardrail posted, try the base set up and then watch your tach and report back, can easily make suggestions to help dial it right in if you can provide theinformation from the tach sweep.

Didn't you get instructions with a baseline setup?
My kit came with one.
I haven't orderd one yet. I was on the fence as to which HC kit to go with the Orriginal 40/10 with the set up posted on this sight or the new Drag and fly which I do not see any tried and true set up for the Viper posted. I.e. what angle helix, weight combo tip, center, heel and what spring to use. I am looking to go with whaterver set up will be already tested by you guys who have spent the time and effort to try different set ups and combo's and start with that. Only because I know I won't have the time to try different set up's myself and I know I am looking for TOP End and Mid Range increase on a Stock 2004 Viper S.

I kinda think you answered your own question, the 40-10 has been tried and set up for years here, I think some have shown 114mph radar speeds which is shown as alot more on the digital dream meter on sled. I am sure there are other weights which can give better topspeed numbers, however it doesnt sound like you want to do testing so this would be what your kinda stuck with. Having said that, if you have never ridden a viper with heel clcickers, youll most definitley have a large smile on your face with a good set up, they work quite well, GIANT improvement over stock.

If you get them(40-10), I will give you the set up i use in customers viper/single pipe sleds, pm me for the set up.

Yea I am deffinately going to get them. My dealer gave me his set up last winter and I actually lost 5 to 10 MPH Top End but gained in Mid Range not what I was looking for unfortunately.

Is this the best 40-10 Heel Clicker set up for a stock Viper???? What brand name Helix????

I used 4.0 grams heel, 3.3 center and 4.3 tip, red primary spring, 48/34 helix with stock red secondary spring at 90 for trail, if you get out on the lake just drop your secondary back to 70 it will pick up alot more speed.

That set-up looks pretty close. I run my secondary at 70 all the time and it is just fine. Still has good top end and the backshift is good too.
