I have to know? I just got an 99 srx fully rebuild bottom to top motor and secondary and drive line. The only upgrads regads to performance is a little stiffer clutch springs, transfer rods and 1 1/4 track . I am wondering how it will hold out aginst my friends 06 F7 with 1 3/4 track, will his bigger track slow him down enough for me to catch him. Im not sure if mine might be geared down because it seem to be verry quick on the bottom when i tried it last year when she was owned by the previouse owner. Both sled are runnig mbrp slincers if it makes a difference.

I think it will be a very close race, your just going to have to get out there and see what happens. the 1 3/4 track won't help your cause holeshot wise but it may slow him down a tad on a long lake run

Take off the mbrp can & put the stock can on & gain 1-2 more sled lengths.

06 is 140hp... It would be good race but the 06 WILL hook with that track, its gonna be a traction race the 03s and 06s are very fast when dialed in

Why does every one care about who is gonna beat who? fastest sled i ever rode was a stock srx. fast enough for me! All these cat riders at work say i bet ya 20 bucks my F7 will beat your srx, Saying tripples suck.

I will will take my bone stock 01 srx 700 w/ 192studs vs. F7 any day... as for who will win? couldnt tell ya! havnt raced an F7 yet and i'm not gonna go talkin Shit about winning till its proved on the lake. Thats basically what i told those guys..

and yea i told em, i'll take the 20 dollar bet.

Top speed isn't important when just trail riding,I'm not going 100mph on trails only wide open areas and lakes. i know i'll beat him in the twisties, but when theres some jumps its all their game with their fancy sno pros.

I love passing people with ease though when i have to.
