I'm going to tell a quick, true 1969 theft story.

I had been married for 6 months. We bought a trailer (mobile home) and I built a patio cover to store my things under. My wife worked nights and I worked days.. It was about 10:00 at night, I'm drying off from a shower and I hear a clang. It sounded a lot like my motorcycle side stand coming up. I grabbed my gun, ran to the front door naked.
I saw the thief pushing my pride and joy toward the street. I threw open the front door and before I could say a word he dropped my cycle on its side, breaking the clutch lever and bending the break lever. To this day I am still am unsure if it was the sight of me naked or the gun in my hand that worked so well.
The moral of this story is if you do not have a gun, try chasing the thief naked. Either one will scare the s*** out of a sane person.

We park ours in opposite directions then cable lock or chain them together. This dosen't really stop them from stealing them, it's just a deterrent so they move on to ones that are a little easier. Lets face it, if they really want to steal your sled they will some how. The guy with the hand gun has a good idea!
