Simmons skis

Has anybody tried simmons skis on there SRX? If so how did you like it? Good/Bad? I picked up a pair this year and just curious of what you guys thought of them.

i have them on my 02 tweeked venture . DARTING ? WHAT DARTING . i put a set on a older pol. he thought 400 $ for skis is nuts . BUT HE WOULD NOT GO BACK NOW

go over to the 4stroke side there is alot of good info in this thread.

simmons work better if you modify them, they will turn easier and not wear out the front of the keels.

Yea I like the simmon skis. They don't dart n they got good traction.

I love my simmons. what are the mods to them, just the shimming? my da likes them enough to quickly buy 2 sets for his and moms sleds

i tried them on a 98 msrx 136 and did not like the sore shoulders i got

sounds like setup, too much ski pressure maybe??

Yeah, I had to back off my ski pressure when put my simmons on. Are you talking about shimming them the same way you do the stock ones???

I left my shims on when I installed the simmons, they feel great with that done and almost all the pressure on the skid. lots of traction and transfer that way too. mono skid also doesn't hurt that aspect any either!
