would the shocks ,limiter straps transfer rods fit on 2000 rx1 to increase travel found a hole rx1 rear suspension for sale

thanks dave :2strokes:

use the skid from the rx1, the font lower mount is designed better. use your rods that run from the rear arm to the fra beside the rear shock.
you will want to use your upper rear shaft, rx1 shaft is 3/4in narrower.

so got 2003 rx1 suspension its a 136 and the transfer rods are same lenth as mine i have spx adjustalbe ones on mine and shocks are about 1 inch longer than mine and limit straps look longer ,but do i put different looking front skid in mine so just wondering if this is normal and that it will give me more travel on my 2000 srx or just shocks

let me now what will work for more travel dave

the lower skid is a mountain skid, the front arm is called an H arm and is only on mountain sleds

the srx skid above looks to be correct with rx1 shocks as long as the shock is from a non worrior rx 1.

if it is off this mountain skid, its a guess what the ride will be like as the rears sissor is mounted back further from the rider and shock spring and valving would be different to compensate.

the control rods on the srx skid are too short. you will need to mount them in the rear holes using nuts and large thick washers on them instead of the rod.

i have stock or bender transfer rods that are long travel stle if you need some.

you can make a spacer to legthen out the rods you have on the bottom and run more spacer on top. if you do a search on here people have posted the length of the spacer.

cool the only other thing id i am using my limiter straps from srx thay say you need longer straps i have ones of mountain chassie , and i would like a set of long travel rods are they adjustable so fix me up for a set please
