Thank you Mrviper. I have a bender 51/43 coming to me in the mail. I am going to try that on my SRX VS the OEM Yamaha 51/43 for the RX/APEX to see what the differnce is in the shift.
Turk told me that that RX1 helix is not really a 51/43 but thats what Yamaha calls it.

I read somewhere that it's actually a 48/40 or some thing like that.

I wont be till mid January though.. I'm still in Japan right now. I just talked to Turk and he said it will be alot more aggressive and faster as he said the bender helixes are very aggressive.
I think I might just order one for the Apex later on and see what it does.

Does anyone have charts made up of the various aftermarket helix codes and angles??
Would be great if we could get a chart going and have it updated with everyones info...

Great idea
This would be a great addition to the tech section.....angles for all the Hauck, Bender etc helix's and, if they shift differently, what they "act" like. You can search and search on here all day long and find lots of angles for Helix's but if they were all in one chart that would be awesome.
By the way.....anyone know what a Bender 9770 is?

I made the change this year on my stock 01 SRX(WWW clutch setup) from a RX1 Helix to a Dalton 51/43. Curious to see how the 2 perform againest 1 another.
