what kind of tunnel extension is that ?

The extension is from Starting Line products. It's an ok extension, I had to do some fab work to make the SRX heat exchanger fit but it turned out pretty good.

I noticed that rust or corrosion does not exist in your area. Lookin' good!!
That would be nice! LOL. I just give it a good bath a couple of times during the winter to keep the salt and other junk off of it. We ride a little bit in road ditches and in town to fill up with gas. Oh their is some rust on the trailing arms...I will probably be painting those down the road I am sure.

Thanks dude, I can't wait to try out the Ohlins also. I have high expectations for them.

where did you get those tunnel supports?
I assume you are talking about the black "traction brackets" They literally do nothing but help your footing. Yamaha made these but do not sell them anymore. I would like to find some tunnel supports because the foot boards bend way to easily.

yeah thats what i was talking about
I am also looking for the same thing having to do with the foot boards bending easily. especially when your standing up.

I put ROX tracks on my viper a couple of years ago and really love them, keeps the running boards rigid and gives you good traction when standing. my understanding is that they are no longer available though. That's too bad because they are great additions to any sled. -Ed

What model of C@A skis are those?

You put some hood straps on the sides?
They are just the standard ski with the 90 degree edge down the center. You could say they are the "orginal style". I put hood straps on the side because I noticed when I would ride the top of the hood would shift over to one side, I did not want to risk cracking the hood because it would not sit in one spot. I think their was a recall on the belly pan, they had to trim some of the plastic away so the top of the hood would sit correctly on the belly pan. Of course the recall came after I installed the extra hood straps. Go figure
