I just started up my brothers 03 viper ER and the battery was dead. I started with the pull and when it started the warning light would come on and the tach would peg at 10 for a second then everything on the display would go blank. It would do this for a couple of minutes every time I gave it a little throttle. Is this from the battery being dead and not able to charge? I tried charging it but it would not take a charge and the charger would say internal short.
yes, replace the battery and all will be fine.
