I run C&A Razors which I couldn't go without now that I have them, but I dont like how much longer the front of them stick out. You can really notice when in a pickup....a$$ hangs out
Has anybody relocated the mounting hole in the channel on these?
I have roughly 1.25 inches I can move them back, before I hit the carbide mount. The channel is the same size and everything, so Idont see how there is any issues, aside from the original hole
Would an extra hole be a big deal? strength wise?

I just installed some lastnight and I know what your saying. I don't think it would be much of a problem minus the fact that your going to have the other hole there and it will look goofy. They are designed like that for a reason i'm sure and moving the point of where all the weight of the sled rests on the ski may hurt the way your carbides sit and could sacrifice your handling. This is just a theory though.

I think you would mess up the balance of the skiis. You'll end up wearing out the front of the carbides before the back. Maybe then you could just flip them around and get twice the use out of them. HA HA! I think the sacrifice of the sled sitting 1.25 inch back in the truck is well worth the handling and longevity of the skiis. Like "Flatblack97" said they were designed that way for a reason. After all, did you buy the sled to haul in your truck or to have fun on the trail?

100% wouldnt do it.
Like everyone has said your messing with the balance, not only for wearing carbides but handling and if you ever get air they may dip significantly in one direction and possibly dig in.
Dont bother for 1.25"

I have C&A on my viper and they handle great. I trailer the sled never had a issue. I agree with above I would not relocate the hole.
