I posted this question in the technical area of the forum's but thought I would give it a shot in the vintage forum because after all it is a vintage sled we are dealing with here.

What I am trying to figure out is last year my brother broke his rails off his 84 phazer SE. So the skid frame is non repairable. The question is can my brother 85 SS440 skid frame fit in the phazer to make it have an operational suspension again? From what I can gather the tracks are the same so I would think it would work but I nmever actually attempted this. Has anyone been down this road.

Thank you looking at my post! I look forward to your suggestions...

Justin

isn't a phazer a 116in. and the SS440 121?? Ton's of phazers around,can't you get another Skid frame cheap?

Mark

i would not put a ss skid in a Phazer, they are a pile, rails are available everywhere for 116 phazers, check ebay, Rails from an excell lll will also work (wedge body style) as well as others, where are you located? i have a couple that i would sell cheap.
