I have a 2000 sx-r 600 love almost every thing about it but a taller seat would make my back happy and my chropactor broke I have searched the froums and have seen some guys making there own for srx and I have looked online and seen tons of riser for ZR's

Search on here for "seat riser" there are a number of posts. You can make your own. I have made a few myself and think I even posted pics a year or so ago. The SRX and the SXR have the same tunnel / gas tank configuration. The Viper is only different where the seat joins the gas tank. The riser can be the same for both seats.
The company that made them for Arctic Cats (was it Excell?), doesn't make any for Yamaha anymore (I can't remember if they actually ever did).
The best scenario is a BOSS seat, but it takes forever to get one made and they are pricey ($600). Great product, but poor customer service because they are overloaded with work. I think AC contracted with them to make seats for this year or next.
You will want to raise your handlebars, and possibly your windshield too.
