Well its a 93 6.5L turbo dieslel GMC truck
it blew 150 LB on CYL #1 and 320 on the rest on the driver side bank.
I have to take the turbo off tomorrow to test the other side. Its kinda in the way. The motor is making some awful noises so I am wondering if I should pull a brand new engine out of the warehouse since there is 10 of them back there.
Truck has 140,000 miles.
Those 6.2/6.5L GM diesels in my opinion are a sorry excuse for a diesel engine.

Yep...most likely a cracked cylinder if its turboed...if your lucky it may just be a valve on that cylinder...any anti freeze on the oil dipstick or does the exhaust smell sweet...
no water in the oil and it smokes like a chimney out the exhaust.
pulled the heads today.
with pistons at TDC, the piston rocks back and fourth in its bore.
Its pretty bad, like nothing I have ever seen. The truck is going to scrap center.
