i have a 97SX 700. triple pipe, vforce 3 reeds, single layer head gasket. i want to buy a complete clutch kit. which one should i get and from where should i get it? all i know about the current set up is that it has a yellow spring in the primary and a black one in secondary. i got a sweet deal on ultimax 2 belts last year so i am running those.i have 144 new studs in the stock .750 track and dont plan on replacing it this year. i will have adj transfer rods when my viper skid gets here.

imo, i would personally run one of the setups that turk has posted in the tech section. it should cost you alot less, than a complete clutch kit from hauck, pioneer, etc. alot of that parts you would need to setup your sled to turk's specs, can be found on here in the classifieds. just trying to stretch your hard earned dollar.
if you are still set on just buying a complete clutch kit, you can look at hauck performance, bender racing, pioneer performance, etc.

exactly^^^ Most everything that is available has been tried in every possible combination by someone on the site. Search around or check the tech pages and you'll find something to get you close (even the most tried and true set up might need to be tweaked a bit for your sled, weight, conditions, etc.) The "kit" you buy is going to consist mostly of stock parts anyway. You end up paying $200 for 3 rivets, a stock spring in different package, and a helix you could buy used for $50 or less.
