Ok. This is a question for you guys out there who know numbers. What is the final ignition timing for these sleds? Please fill in the blanks. This will be very useful information for the race guys.
SX700 - 18 degrees, 7000+ rpm, no rev limiter.
SRX600 - ?

Well, I am bumping this back up to the top. I phoned Yamaha USA, and Yamaha Canada, and they are both unable to let me know the timing specs of various CDI's. I would really like to know the ACTUAL timing on a 2001 SRX CDI, from 8400 rpm and up. Where does it really begin to retard, and how much per what rpm interval? I've heard many different answers on this. If anybody actually knows this, please chime in. It will be useful to some of us.
