Hey Guys,
So I broke the button off of my kill switch late last winter. I recently replaced it but noticed a difference. There is the little plunger thingy on the side that rests against shaft that holds the throttle lever on the handlebar. the plunger thingy is spring loaded so that when you push the throttle lever it moves a little bit.
I never noticed this before, am I missing a part or something?

They have TORS (throttle override system) from what i understand that is what you are talking about... the throttle doest just pivot, it moves forward against from what my guess would be is that spring your talking about.
So should there always be pressure applied to the plunger thingy so the springs are compressed or not. It seems like it should but the springs always push the throttle lever back a little. I didnt notice this happen with the old kill switch.

I don't think it should be depressed when throttle is not applied... if you notice when you move the thumb throttle, it kinda seems like the thumb lever is loose, but its just pushing up against that spring...
