in the mountain sled talk theres a long thread about tripple piped sleds bogging in powder has anybody on this side found the answer to this problem?

I think that most the sleds having this problem do not have enough twist on the secondary. Try adding 30 degrees to what your set at if you bog. I'm at 100 degrees twist and never bog, even if snow is coming over windshield. I have heard sleds not back shift in the deeper snow. Make sure hood seals to air box, good spark plug wires and cap seal. No exhaust leaks is also important.

Most of the time it is caused by snow being sucked into airbox.

yep get a deflecter for the snow
