You won't believe the difference that the packing made in sound db. I say easily 20db.

Wanna come polish my tunnel?....i'll buy you some beer....lol looks pretty clean, nice job, that one pipe looks dented on the top, did you have to do that for hood clearance or something?
Lol, You just happen to be a little far from me. That pipe isn't dented, It's just a crease from when the pipe was made. B/c It's on a bend, Iunno, It's just wavy. these pipes fit great, no matter how tight they look in there. They clear the hood, with plenty of room. The tunnel still needs hours of work, but It sure does look great.
Thanks, Nik!
Thanks, Nik!
What should I do about bleeding the cooling system? From what I've read srx's have a self bleeding system? So how do I make 100% sure that there is no air in the system?

You can use a special funnel that replaces your radiator cap. You fill up the funnel with antifreeze and run the machine. as the air bubbles come out the antifreeze goes in. It works wonders. Once the machine is warm the thermostat will open and the rest of the bubbles come out. squeeze all the lines a couple of times and run the machine at a higher idle for about 15 sec. Once all the air is gone put the cap in the funnel and put your radiator cap back on. I use this with all my vehicles & sleds. works like a charm.

I just did mine on my viper, I used and air buffer and 3M Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound, then I usually finish off with something finer by hand(mothers, that kind of stuff).

I noticed that your pipes are a different design than mine even thought they are both power inc and individual silencers. The way they fit under the hood is different. Interesting....
Really, Do you got any pics to put in this thread to compare.
Also, I use a mother powerball (Got it for $5 from a friend, Brand new) And Mother Mag & Aluminum Polish.

Me? If so, Then yes. I got them the same day I dropped them off.
Sled was started for the first time in 10 months last night! Man it's so good to hear it roar again. Although It's so much quieter with the silencers packed.
