I'm looking at a set of 30* angle risers that will put the bars straight up 3" instead of back on the same angle as the post plate. I know people have done 2", but what about 3". Would going up make it more likely to work?
On a side note, why is it that a replacement stock throttle cable from Parts Unlimited/or whoever is about $12 but a 6" extended one is $50???
I'd like to go as tall as I can w/o this extra expense.^^^^
As long as the floor is open...I snapped the end of my grip off last season landing off a huge jump & exposed the heating element under the grip. I thought I'd replace those grip heaters & grips. If I get an aftermarket set, is it a plug & play deal so the dial adjuster still works or is an electrical biopsy needed. I haven't checked th dealer for them, figured it would be too much.

I think you're going to be alittle tight with the cables and hose at 3" max is 2" even then i dont like the cables being that tight, going to need to extend them....Get with Rich on here he can get you grips too...www.richmotorsports.com Im pretty sure he sells a kit with everything you'll need to raise the bars up for a good price.
