I need some help. I've got an 06 Apex skid. The books call for 5.125 wheels, but it came with 5.25, I assume this is to help save the hyfax. I just recieve some I bought off e-bay and they were advertised as 5.25, but when I got them they're stamped 5.375 on the back. I e-mailed the seller and he told me that they'd work fine, question is will they? They were listed as 5.25, so should I tell him to take them back or will they work without any problems? I did get a smokin deal on them.

I haven't put it in yet. The tunnel ext, rail ext and 136 track should be here by next week. I've talked to 03Viperguy and he say's it'll be night and day diff. I think i'm gonna buy new 5.25 wheels, too many warnings about the 5.375 wheels bending the mono skid rails. Used skid was $400, hyfax, wheels, bushings, and brackets were another $250. The instructions are in the tech section. It should ride like a caddy, if it saves my back it'll be $ well spent! I'll post some pics when I start.

You'll need to be careful with the rear idler mounts. Lots of guys going to the bigger wheels or replaceable bearings have machined the rear idler mounts to fit a wider bearing on there. The original, with non-replaceable bearings, are skinnier bearings(2MM I think) than most replacement wheels.

Thanks, for the heads up. I've read sooo many threads in the 4 stroke forums on mono skids, idler wheels, 136 extensions. My head hurts, too much info to process!
