I was cleaning up my primary off my 2000 SRX and replacing the spring and noticed that the my stock 8DN weights seem to be worn down on surface that make contact with the rollers. Last year i rebuilt the primary, everything but the changing out the weights. I have 4.5g and 5.0g in them and it shows some rubbing on the tip weight rivet. The sled has over 13,000km. Any thoughts?
Yeah thats high mileage.
The twins were even worse but you should have rebuilt your entire primary clutch by now and replaced the small plactic cam buttons on the secondary

Thanks for the quick response. Like i said i changed out everything in the primary last year, including a new inner sheave, but didn't change the weights. As for the secondary, i am on my third set of buttons. I will pick up a new set of weights and load them up with 4.5g.
